PURPOSE: A wale for a sheathing work by prestress is provided to widen an interval between struts or anchors, to prevent the deflection and transformation of a retaining wall and the surrounding ground, and to improve work efficiency and economical efficiency. CONSTITUTION: The wale for a sheathing work by prestress comprises the steps of coupling right and left brackets(2,2') to the middle of an H-beam(1), fixing a cable(3) passing through the brackets(2,2') from both ends of the brackets(2,2') by fixing nuts(4,4'), forming upper and lower flanges(5,5') of the H-beam(1) to be twice thick or more than a connecting flange(6), and attaching reinforcing flanges(7,7') to the inside of the upper and lower flanges(5,5') of the H-beam(1).
