PURPOSE: An information system for distributing and controlling the multimedia contents is provided to offer the convenience in the use of one software to a user by distributing and controlling the various forms of the multimedia contents and the streaming type contents through one information system and to improve the AD(ADvertisement) effect by transmitting the recording and management techniques of a member database to the contents providers. CONSTITUTION: Many users(100a-100n) connected to the Internet(200) run the user software(102a-102n) to connect to a management server(320). In the management server(320), the member DB(340) and a channel DB(360) for providing the information about the multimedia contents, the providers, the channels, and the organization are built. A server manager(380) is connected to the management server(320). The management server(320) connects the multimedia contents to the servers(400a-400n). The management server(320) stores the contents provided from the servers(400a-400n) to the channel DB and provides the contents with response to the requests from the users(102a-102n). Then, an AD appointed by the contents provider is provided to the users(102a-102n).
