PURPOSE: A device for processing an alarm of a transmission equipment is provided to make an event a linked list with category units, and to process the event into category group units without processing lower categories by blocking the lower categories, thereby reducing memory using time and alarm processing time. CONSTITUTION: An event detection module(40) detects an event generated in a transmission equipment, and compares the event with previous state information to output a detecting signal when a changed part exists. If a present category of the event is in a nonblocking state, a processing module(50) outputs the event to decide whether the event continues during certain time. If a signal for continuing an alarm is inputted, the processing module(50) sets alarm generation. A time module(60) decides whether the event continues during a set time, and if so, the time module(60) outputs the corresponding signal to the processing module(50). |
