PURPOSE: A warp knit fiber made of a thick and thin yarn having ununiform fineness by irregular drawing is provided which is excellent in expression of natural streaky effect, tough feeling(softness) and appearance and can be useful in manufacture of a women's garment. CONSTITUTION: The warp knit fabric is characterized in that a surface texture comprises an ultrafine fiber having a denier of 0.001 to 0.3 and a backing tissue comprises a thick and thin yarn having a single yarn fineness of 1 to 5 denier. The thick and thin yarn is polyester and the total fineness thereof is 4 to 90 denier.
