An aliphatic compound represented by the formula (I): (I) [wherein A represents optionally substituted CH<sb>3</sb>C<sb>n</sb>H<sb>(2n−2m)</sb>− (n is an integer of 4 to 22 and m, indicating the number of unsaturated bonds, is an integer of 0 to 7); l is an integer of 0 to 10; s is 0 or 1; provided that when s is 0, then p+q is 4 or 5 and when s is 1, then p+q is 3 or 4, and that either of p and q is an integer of 1 or larger; R represents C<sb>1−10</sb> linear or branched alkyl; and R<sp>A</sp> represents hydrogen or C<sb>1−10</sb> linear or branched alkyl], a stereoisomer of the compound, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt of either; and uses of these for the inhibition of platelet aggregation, inhibition of inflammation, and prevention or treatment of circulatory diseases.
