LIPID−MODIFIED ENZYMES,PROCESS FOR PRODUCING THE SAME AND BIOSENSOR

To provide a biosensor whereby the concentration of a substrate such as glucose can be accurately measured at a high storage reliability,a lipid−modified enzyme composed of a lipid and glucose dehydrogenase,cholesterol oxidase or cholesterol esterase modified with the above lipid is provided.This lipid−modified enzyme can be obtained by adding an enzyme to a lipid−containing medium in the presence of an inorganic salt,thus forming a complex of the above lipid with the enzyme,precipitating the complex and then separating and drying the precipitate.
