The invention relates to the field of optical devices, particularly liquid-crystal imaging devices, and the mirrors associated with said optical devices. The inventive optical device is bent and comprises at least one lamp (3) and a conduit (9) which guides at least part of the light from the lamp (3). Moreover, the bent part of the optical device is provided with a mirror (12) comprising a sheet which is folded such that said sheet can: (i) be partially inserted into the conduit (9) and (ii), once inserted and blocked in position in the conduit (9), reflect part of the light from the lamp (3) in a pre-determined direction. In particular, the invention can be used in liquid-crystal imaging devices for military aircraft.
