PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a boring bit preventing the wear of a bit body. SOLUTION: The boring bit 1 has at one end of the bit body 4 a boring blade chip 6 made of cemented carbide and a wear resistant member 9. The wear resistant member 9 comprises a plate-shaped member body 9a made of steel and an anti-wear chip 9b made of cemented carbide buried into the member body. The anti-wear chip 9b is made of a columnar or polygonal short column or a long plate. Attaching of the wear resistant member 9 to the bit body 4 is achieved by soldering, welding, adhesion or the like. The boring blade chip 6 is applicable also to a double ended bit when it is provided at each end or the center of the bit body 4. |
