PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the leakage of light from a gap formed between two winding pipes in a roll screen having the two winding pipes arranged therein. SOLUTION: The two winding pipes 16 and 17 are arranged between a pair of side plates 14 and 14 and screens 18 and 19 are connected to the respective winding pipes 16 and 17 at one end in such a way that the screens can be wound and unwound. The upper winding limit position of the screen 18 connected to the upper winding pipe 16 is set so that at the upper winding limit position, a vertical gap S formed between the wound part of the screen 18 wound on the upper winding pipe 16 and the wound part of the screen 19 wound on the lower winding pipe 17 is concealed, at least as seen from its front.
