PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a pocket flap of simple insertion type, with which contents of various kinds of pockets, especially a chest pocket of clothes are surely prevented from dropping, storability is covered, which does not require labor for hooking and unhooking, does not present an obstacle and is useful for preventing a crime of pickpocketing. SOLUTION: This pocket flap has a structure of an integrated or a combined body consisting of an insertion thin leaf into the inside of a pocket and a flap leaf having a latching tool with the outside of the pocket. Since the insertion thin leaf is stuck fast to a main body such as clothes and the short flap leaf is latched with the pocket, the insertion thin leaf remains in the pocket and contents of the pocket do not drop. The flap leaf can be left open even if pushed down. When the flap is simply and surely connected to the pocket by a square and circle hole slide type button, the button can be freely moved vertically and a crime prevention lock structure for fixing engagement can be adopted.
