PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas concentration distribution measuring device capable of examining the generation state of poisonous gas at a dumping site or the like of industrial waste, simply and accurately without inducing problems on safety and sanitation. SOLUTION: This device comprises a self-travelling mobile 3 (moving station 10) for loading a gas sensor 11 and a transmission device 14 for transmitting measurement data, a GPS receiver (position detection means) 16 for determining the position of the self-travelling mobile, and a fixed station 20 equipped with a communication device (receiver) 21 for receiving the measurement data transmitted from the self-travelling mobile and a monitoring device (distribution measuring means) 22 for finding a distribution of the gas concentration in a measuring object domain from the received measurement data and the position of the self-travelling mobile. The sensor is installed horizontally movably, and a three-dimensional distribution of the gas concentration is found by changing the measuring height position of the gas concentration from the ground surface.
