PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide superior dust-proof sealing performance without separating a strip-shaped member even when a linear guide device is used in the environment of being splashed with a water-soluble substance. SOLUTION: In this linear guide device provided with a guide rail 1 having mounting holes 5 penetrated from its upper face to its lower face and axially extended, a metal tape 21 attached to the upper face of the guide rail 1 through an adhesive, and covering an upper opening of the mounting hole 5, and a slider 2 supported on the guide rail 1 relatively movably along the axial direction through the rolling of a number of rolling elements, the adhesive is provided with an acrylic adhesive located on a central part in the width direction of the metal tape 21, and a silicone-based adhesive located at both sides in the width direction of the metal tape 21.
