摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a combustion control device for a gasoline engine capable of operating a multi-cylinder gasoline engine with a target air-fuel ratio close to the limit of the stable operation, and maximizing the purification of an exhaust gas, and the improvement in fuel saving. SOLUTION: This combustion control device is provided with a dispersion of combustion pressure detecting circuit 4 comprising a full-region air-fuel ratio sensor 201 or an oxygen sensor mounted on an exhaust passage, and a combustion pressure sensor 5 mounted between components of a spark plug 3 and the like for detecting a degree of dispersion of peak values of the combustion pressure for each cylinder, and a control circuit 6 for controlling the total amount of fuel injection from all of fuel injection devices 301 while feedback controlling to provide an intake air-fuel mixture with a theoretical air fuel ratio, detecting the operating condition of each cylinder by the dispersion of combustion pressure detecting circuit 4, and controlling the fuel injection amount from the fuel injection device 301 of each cylinder to unify the dispersion degrees of the fuel pressure of the cylinders.
