PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a terminal unit for learning enabling quick change or setup of the function of each key. SOLUTION: The terminal unit for learning 1, when it receives communication data from a personal computer 2 or another terminal unit for leaning 1, correlates each function with each function key according to the content of the communication data or stores an extended function program. Thus, setup or change of function of each function key can be quickly carried out without complicated operation input. Also, the function of the terminal unit for learning 1 is enhanced since the extended function program is given from the personal computer 2 or another terminal unit for learning 1.
