SUBMERGED NOZZLE ASSEMBLY WITH AUTOMATIC CENTERING FUNCTION

PURPOSE: A submerged nozzle assembly with automatic centering function is provided to maximize assembling efficiency between the wall block and the submerged nozzle and restrain flowing even during fixing and releasing of a stopper by simultaneously inserting a submerged nozzle into a wall block and automatically centering them. CONSTITUTION: The submerged nozzle assembly with automatic centering function comprises a plurality of fixing keys(34) which are projectingly formed on the upper outer circumference of a submerged nozzle(30') for guiding discharge of molten steel from a tundish into a mold; a flange shaped sealing flap(36) which is fixed onto the upper surface of the submerged nozzle(30') in such a way that the sealing flap(36) is more outwardly projected than the fixing keys(34); a sealing groove(26) which has a diameter corresponding to the sealing flap(36) and is female grooved on the upper surface of a wall block(20'); and fixing grooves(24) the corresponding number of which are formed so that the fixing grooves(24) are coupled to the fixing keys(34) on the upper inner circumference of a hole into which the submerged nozzle(30') that is the inner surface of the sealing groove(26) is inserted, wherein the fixing keys(34) and the sealing flap(36) are integrally formed together with the submerged nozzle(30'), four of the fixing keys(34) are installed along the upper outer circumference of the submerged nozzle(30') with spaced apart from each other in a distance of 90 degrees of an angle, and the sealing flap(36) has a larger radius than the radius from the center of the submerged nozzle(30') to the fixing keys(34).
