PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wire material feeder of a stranding machine designed so as not to twist a core element when the core element is fed to the stranding machine capable of stranding wire elements for a stranded wire along the core element and producing the stranded wire. SOLUTION: This wire material feeder of the stranding machine is obtained by boring a central threading hole 12 in the central part of a comber board 10 provided on the side of feeding the wire elements 3 of the stranding machine and further a plurality of outer annular threading holes 13 on the periphery of the central threading hole 12. A supporting means 20 having two freely rotatable supporting rollers 22 adjacent in the central part of the central threading hole 12 of the comber board 10 is installed. The core material 2 is passed through the central threading hole 12 and the wire material 3 for the stranded wire are threaded through the outer annular threading holes 13. The supporting means 20 is capable of nipping the core material 2 and preventing twisting or slackness of the core material 2 when the wire material 3 for the stranded wire are passed along the peripheral of the core material 2.
