An interior light comprises a housing (11) which is covered by a lamp glass (12). Two electrically insulated contact springs (13, 14) are disposed in the lower portion of the housing to receive a tubular incandescent lamp (15). The contact spring (14) is U-shaped and is inserted in a pivotally mounted actuating lever (17) to be applied against fixed contacts (24) by pivoting of the lever. A flange (20) directed radially inwards is injection-moulded on the upper edge of the housing and carries a bush (19) which extends with its longitudinal axis perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the tubular lamp and which faces towards the bottom of the housing with its free end. Inserted in the bush is a pin (18) which is formed on the actuating lever and serves as a pivotal axis for the lever. The U-shaped contact spring (14) is bent at an angle at one free end and engaged, by this end, in the base of the actuating lever, below the pin forming the pivotal axis, the spring being supported on the bush by its arm carrying the end bent at an angle. <IMAGE> |
