<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a steel sheet member which can restrain a formation of oxide and vanishing of a plated film in quenching, and uniformly cool the member in quenching. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the steel sheet member made of a steel sheet comprises a preparation step for preparing the steel sheet, a press forming step for press forming the prepared steel sheet into a formed article W of a predetermined shape, and a hardening step for hardening the press formed article W at a predetermined hardening temperature of 950 deg.C or less, by generating heat inside in such a state as a liquid refrigerant is in contact with a part to be heated. The employed steel sheet is characterized by including carbon(C) of 0.1-0.2 mass% and several metals, by having A3 transformation temperature in the above hardening temperature, at which the metal structure is transformed to austenite, and by having a tensile strength of 550 MPa or less.</p> |
