PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a throwing apparatus for waste including a clogging detection apparatus capable of early detecting clogging of a waste in the throwing apparatus for a waste incinerator. SOLUTION: The throwing apparatus for waste comprises opening/closing doors (2, 3) provided on the sides of an inlet and an outlet of a throwing passage of the throwing apparatus, a slip passage (4) provided on the downstream side of the outlet side opening/closing door for slipping waste to throw it into an incinerator, first waste presence detection sensors (10a, 10b) disposed respectively on the upstream side of the opening/closing doors provided on the inlet and outlet sides of the throwing passage, and a plurality of second waste presence detection sensors (10c, 10d) disposed on the fraction of the slip passage.
