PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly convenient interphone system with imaging device, a communication method for interphone with image pickup device and portable communications terminal equipment and portable communications terminal equipment, with which call with a visitor can be performed through portable communication terminal equipment, a server device and visitor terminal equipment, using simple operations, after the image of the visitor is confirmed by the portable communication terminal equipment when the visitor terminal equipment is operated, while the user of a building is absent. SOLUTION: When electronic mail for reporting absence is reported from a base unit 12 via the Internet to a portable telephone 7 while the resident of a house 1 is absent, based on the image request notice from the portable telephone 7, the image of the visitor is transmitted; and after the image is confirmed by the portable telephone 7, when a voice request notice is issued from the portable telephone 7, call is performed over the Internet, while switching operation into communication mode between the portable telephone 7 and visitor terminal equipment 11.
