PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device having a fire door provided with a smoke-blocking function. SOLUTION: This self-closing sliding fire door device with a smoke-blocking function has a curved part curved toward an opening in a wall, near the fully closed position of a sliding door. Two rails each provided with a grounding means for a hanging door are laid parallel to each other at the tip of the sliding door. The sliding door having a self-closing means which is rollably moved by a pulley resting on each rail is suspended, and an inclined member which guides the lower portion of the sliding door in a direction along the curved part by abutting a guide wheel when the pulley reaches the curved part is provided at the bottom rail part of the sliding door. The sliding door is provided with a drawing means for drawing the sliding door in a fully closing direction when the pulley reaches the curved part. Further, recessed groove parts are formed within the respective grooved walls of a door end jamb, a wall opening head, a wall opening jamb, and the bottom rail part of the sliding door abutting the floor face, with the sliding door abutting the door end jamb when the door is fully closed. An elastic smoke blocking material is caught in the recessed groove parts to form a fireproof, smoke-blocking structure. When the sliding door is fully closed, three sides except the bottom rail part on the back of the sliding door, and the floor face of the bottom rail part of the sliding door, a total of four sides of the wall opening, are pressed by the elastic smoke blocking material and closed.
