PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coloring agent supply/management system capable of efficiently supplying a coloring agent by a method wherein a consumption amount of the coloring agent consumed in a printer is counted and the information is received through a network. SOLUTION: This coloring agent supply/management system supplies a coloring agent to be used in a printer 20. The system comprises a coloring agent consumption amount counting means for counting the consumption amount of the coloring agent consumed in the printer 20, an information receiving means that receives information in relation to the consumption amount of the coloring agent counted by the coloring agent consumption amount counting means through the network NW, and a coloring agent supply instructing means that instructs the supply of the coloring agent based on the information received by the information receiving means.
