PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a steam vulcanization apparatus capable of uniformly supplying steam to the whole of a container regardless of the size or shape of the container to uniformly vulcanize the whole of unvulcanized matter. SOLUTION: A heat exchanger 20 is allowed to communicate with the outside of a hermetically closed vulcanizer 1, and a steam supply pipe 2 and a compressed air supply pipe 12 are connected to the vulcanizer 1. A pressure sensor 12 and regulation valves 7, 8, 10 and 12 are connected through a pressure controller. Steam and compressed air are supplied into the vulcanizer 1 under predetermined pressure to perform vulcanization under the arbitrary pressure and temperature condition corresponding to respective partial pressures of them. The steam reaching the heat exchanger 20 from the interior of the vulcanizer 1 is cooled and condensed by a cooling medium to accelerate the convection of steam. |
