PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tool holder of an impact tool capable of surely and accurately holding a tip tool only by inserting the tip tool into a front cover, and capable of reducing the size and weight without arranging a cutting part in the front cover, and without requiring to enlarge a dimension of a ball being a locking member. SOLUTION: An annular ring member 5 is arranged for receiving energizing force of a first spring 8 being an energizing means. A hole part 5b extending in the radial direction of the tip tool 1 is arranged in the annular ring member 5. A plate 6 installed in the hole part 5b, positioned in a through-hole 2a, and capable of contacting with the ball 3 being the locking member is provided.
