PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foam generator capable of restraining a decrease in foam generation efficiency due to a decrease of a cleaning solution and reducing remaining of the cleaning solution. SOLUTION: In a foam generator having a tank 2 in which a cleaning solution 1 can be stored, an air supply means 3 supplying air to the tank 2, a foam ejector 6 ejecting a foam 5 produced by discharge of air into the cleaning solution 1 in the tank 2 from the air discharge section 4 of the air supply means 3, a recess 8 into which the cleaning solution 1 is collected is formed at the internal bottom 7 of the tank 2, and the foam discharge section 4 of the air supply means 3 is stored and installed in the recess 8.
