PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem in an inside-air and outside-air switching control method for a vehicular air-conditioner by an exhaust gas sensor, evade cost-up, and preclude the possibility of malfunction. SOLUTION: This switch control method for the vehicular air-conditioner is constituted to switch the vehicular air-conditioner to an inside-air introducing condition when the air-conditioner is under an outside-air introducing condition and when a distance between a tunnel entrance and a vehicle is brought into the first prescribed distance or less after approaching to the entrance of a tunnel is detected and to switch the vehicular air-conditioner to the outside-air introducing condition when the distance between the tunnel outlet and the vehicle is brought into the second prescribed distance or more after passing through the outlet of the tunnel is detected, simple inside-air and outside-air switching control for preventing exhaust gas from intruding in the outside-air introduction is allowed thereby without using the exhaust gas sensor, so as to preclude the possibility that the malfunction and the switching between the inside air and the outside air are not met to the purpose with respect to an abrupt change of an exhaust gas concentration and so as to prevent also the cost-up.
