METHOD OF REPAIR OF PIPE

FIELD: construction engineering; repair of pipe line for strengthening it. SUBSTANCE: method consists in cleaning defective spots of pipe line, covering these spots with filling material in deformable state and tightly winding turns of high-strength band on defective spot for forming bandage. Turns of band are coated with adhesive. First and last turns are secured on pipe line. Specification gives conditions for selecting number of turns of bandage band.
