<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cathode-ray tube dismantling device assuring an enhanced working efficiency, saving the space, a low noise emission, and a low cost. SOLUTION: The dismantling device is to disassemble a cathode-ray tube of such a structure that a panel part and a funnel part are joined together and a metal band for precluding implosion is wound on the peripheral surface of the panel part, and the arrangement comprises a holding table 110 to hold the cathode-ray tube and rotate it and elevate/sink, metal band removing devices 130a, 130b, 130c, and 140 to restrict the upward and/or downward movement of the metal band on the tube and heat the metal band, processing devices 160 and 170 to give damages to the peripheral surface of the tube, and a heating device 180 to make division into the panel part and funnel part by winding a wire-form heat emitting body round the peripheral surface of the tube and allowing the heat emitting body to emit heat, wherein the metal band removing devices, processing devices, and heating device are installed with certain level differences.</p> |
