PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To transmit location information to a center only when a prescribed condition is met in a traveling object device mounted on a traveling object to be used for location monitoring, etc. SOLUTION: This traveling object device comprises: a location information acquisition means for acquiring the location information of a traveling object through a GPS antenna; a setting information table in which conditions for deciding whether the location information acquired by the location information acquisition means is to be transmitted to the center are set; a decision processing means for deciding whether the location information is to be transmitted to the center on the basis of the state of the traveling object and the conditions in the setting information table; and a transmission processing means for transmitting the location information to the center when the decision processing means decides that the location information is to be sent to the center.
