PURPOSE: A method for classifying, storing, and retrieving telephone numbers in a mobile communication terminal is provided to store telephone numbers in each group database according to a corresponding classification item by separately constructing the group database and successively assigning a storing address number in the group database according to the classification item. CONSTITUTION: If a user selects a group database and requests the management of telephone numbers of a corresponding group, a mobile communication terminal arranges and displays group names and group address of all groups(S601-S604,S611). If the user selects a random one group among the group names and the group addresses displayed on the mobile communication terminal, the mobile communication terminal displays the selected group name and group address and receives a new telephone number storing menu or an old telephone number correction menu from the user(S612-S617,S621-S623). The mobile communication terminal stores a new telephone number in a telephone number input space of a storing address of the group database selected by the user or corrects a telephone number of the telephone number input space of the storing address of the group database selected by the user according to the new telephone number storing menu or the old telephone number correction menu selected by the user(S624-S641). |
