PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a handle lock of a circuit breaker, enabling simple mounting and dismounting of the handle lock, without impairing the appearance by surely locking an operation handle, so as to prevent the operation unless the handle lock is dismounted, even if someone attempts to operate the operation handle. SOLUTION: This handle lock 1 comprises a cap part 8, having an insertion hole 7 fitted to a knob part 6 of the operation handle 5 of the circuit breaker 2; a stopper part 9 locked to an edge of an opening part 4, when the operation handle 5 is at on-position or off position; a hook part 13 mounted rotatably by using, as an axis, a connection shaft part 10 formed by cutting out the circumference of the widthwise side face of the cap part 8 and formed protrusively into the insertion hole 7, so as to be locked to a recessed part 12 formed on the side face of the knob part 6; and a release button part 14, formed on the side opposite to the hook part 13 with respect to the shaft part 10 for releasing the engagement of the hook part 13 with the recessed part 12 by a pressing operation.
