<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power generation controller for vehicles, which reduces the variation of the operational performance of an electrical load for vehicles, preventing the lowering of a fuel consumption reduction effect. SOLUTION: In the power generation controller for vehicles which orders gradual decrease of the generated voltage, when a vehicle is accelerated, and a gradual increase in the generated voltage when the vehicle is decelerated, a generated voltage which is shown in a step 125, and is generated, when the headlamps of the vehicle are operated and a shift of the vehicle speed is performed, is changed at a speed lower than the voltage which is shown in step 113, and is generated when the headlamps are not operated and a shift of the vehicle speed is performed. Variations in the quantities of light of the headlamps generated, when a shift of the vehicle speed is performed, can be reduced more than in a conventional gradually changing power generation controller, and the lowering of the fuel consumption reduction effect can be reduced, since the gradually changing speed for the generated voltage is not lowered, when the headlamps are not in operation.</p> |
