PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a design margin for facilitating designing and manufacture, and of the enhancement of power conversion efficiency. SOLUTION: A switching power circuit is provided with a drive transformer CDT as a complex resonance converter, so that self-excited switching drive is conducted. Furthermore, switching frequency control for turning voltage constant is conducted, by connecting a series circuit of a capacitor and an energization control element to the base of a switching element Q1, and controlling energization of the series circuit. An orthogonal control transformer is thereby omitted. Furthermore, for the drive transformer CDT, by selecting a closed magnetic circuit-type core of an amorphous magnetic material, the level of reverse current becomes higher than the level of forward current, with respect to the base current of the switching element Q1.
