PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display an area accurately by using the image of the area in a dead angle to a camera out of picked up images. SOLUTION: This display device for a vehicle is provided with cameras 1A, 1B which mounted on the vehicle and produce image data wherein the surrounding of the vehicle is imaged by a first point of view, an image converting and compositing part 2 which converts the image data imaged and produced to image data seen from a second point of view (just above the vehicle) different from the first point of view (right and left rear ends of the vehicle), a vehicle image (icon) part 4 showing the vehicle it self in the image data converted by the image converting and compositing part 2, a road surface shaded area part 3 which shows a shaded road surface image positioned on the line of sight of the first point of view and on which the vehicle runs is shaded by the vehicle itself, and a display part 5 for displaying the image data. |
