PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a distributed data bases sharing method capable of easily sharing differently designated data bases. SOLUTION: A shared definition format is set in a server CS in each company. This shared definition format defines a data structure for sharing as one defined rule shared by A-E companies (data sharing organization) sharing data as a whole. This server CS is linked to a DBMS, and data are extracted from a data base DB according to the command of the server CS based on the shared definition format. The DBMS is respectively set with exclusive combination information format, and data housed in the mounted data base DB are associated with the shared definition format. One combination information format is defined for each DBMS, and the combination relation of the shared definition format and the mounted data base DB is defined.
