PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a translation system which enables a translation manager to surely recognize a translation request notice to improve the efficiency of translation management and translation work and which enables a translation client to surely confirm transmission acknowledgement. SOLUTION: The translation system is provided with a file storage means which is connected to a communication network and has a translation object and a translation result stored thereon as respectively individual translation file and translation result file or as a work file obtained by adding the translation result to the translation object as a postscript, a file preparation means for preparing the translation file or the work file based on the translation object transmitted from a requesting terminal through the communication network, and a request database which has the request content transmitted from the client terminal and the progress situation of translation work in connection with each other and has the progress situation updated by a request from a management terminal and the translation terminal. |
