PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grounding system which can make lightning grounding of a lightning conductor through a building structure even a space between a building and a base body (total ground) is electrically in non-conductive condition by an earth-quake isolating system or the like, keep a ground potential rise of the base body (total ground) low, and surely protect equipment stored in the building from a lightning. SOLUTION: In a building grounding system of a building 1 insulated electrically from a base body (ground) 4, lightning arresting and grounding are conducted by setting an annular grounding body 7 at the base body (ground) and at the ground around the base body through a building body 2 of a steel frame material or the like of the building 1.
