Selective regulation of adenovirus packaging with COUP-TF or lac repressor

A method of regulating adenovirus packaging comprising the steps of :(a) obtaining an adenovirus vector containing an adenovirus packaging repressor binding site, said binding site being located between, within or surrounding an adenovirus packaging sequence; and (b) propagating said vector in the absence of said packaging repressor; and (c) repressing packaging of said vector in the presence of said packaging repressor.
