FITTING FOR PIPE LINE

摘要

FIELD: construction engineering; laying pipe lines at points of turn. SUBSTANCE: proposed fitting is made from at least two sections of pipe manufactured from high-strength cast iron which are welded at angle; said sections have similar passage area. Specification gives mathematical dependence of width of weld versus angle of turn of pipe line and thickness of wall of fitting. Specification contains also recommendations for selection of material of weld seam and data on connecting members of fitting. EFFECT: extended field of application. 6 cl, 4 dwg
