An ultraviolet absorber composition which is obtained by melt−mixing(A)the compound represented by the following general formula(I)with(B)a resin stabilizer selected from the group consisting of(b−1)a phenolic antioxidant,(b−2)a phosphorus compound antioxidant,(b−3)a hindered amine stabilizer,and(b−4)an ultraviolet absorber other than the compound(A)in an(A)/(B)weight ratio of from 95/5 to 50/50.The composition has excellent compatibility with synthetic resins and gives a stabilized synthetic resin molding.(I)
