The prosthetic has a tibia part (1), implanted in the tibia and a talus part (2), implanted in the talus, a removable plate part (3) attached to the tibia part having 2 curved recesses (5,6) separated by a central region (4) facing towards the talus part, for cooperating with curved bearing surfaces (7,8) of the latter. The plate part is attached to the tibia part via a pivot pin (10) allowing it to pivot through a limited angle of between -5 degrees and +5 degrees.
