<p>A bracket (30) to mount a charge roller (26) and a blade (40) against a photoconductive drum (14) within an image forming apparatus (100). Bracket (30) may comprise a pair of guides (31) that extend outward to receive the ends of the charge roller (26). A biasing device (62) may be positioned to bias the charge roller (26) against the photoconductive drum (14). The guides (31) may include an opening sized to allow the charge roller (26) to move and maintain contact with the photoconductive drum (14). A mounting surface (50) may be positioned on the bracket (30) for receiving adhesive to mount the blade (40). In one embodiment, the bracket (30) is constructed of a molded thermoplastic polymer.</p> |
