PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a print medium for making a security document by using a home printer or an office printer. SOLUTION: The print medium for making a security document comprises a support layer (36), and a coating layer (38, 138a) of a material placed on the support layer. The coating layer of the material has an upper surface and can be permeated with a dye permeable type ink (50) so that it can pass through the coating layer to reach the support layer, and a pigment type ink (52) being printed on the upper surface is mounted weakly thereon so that it does not permeate the upper surface. The pigment type ink can be removed by gentle polishing so that a message (40) printed with the dye permeable type ink beneath the pigment type ink is clarified. |
