PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a label printer in which a printing paper let off from a label roll is prevented from separating from a guide roller and curving even when kept waiting for a long time. SOLUTION: In the label printer 12 in which the printing paper L1 let off from the label roll Lr set to a let-off part 21 is supplied via the guide roller 22 to between a printing roller 26 and a printing head 25 and printed by the printing head 25, a receiving member 10 is set to surround the side of the guide roller 22 where the printing paper L1 deflects away from the guide roller 22. The printing paper L1 deflecting away from the guide roller 22 comes to contact the receiving member 10, whereby the deflection of the printing paper L1 is restricted.
