PURPOSE: A measure is provided to minimize errors during line drawing or paper cutting, while preventing injury by permitting cutter blade to move within the slot formed at the measure. CONSTITUTION: A measure(50) is characterized in that the measure has a slot(50b) for passage of an end of writing instrument or cutter so as to reduce error of line when a user draws a line by using the writing instrument or cuts paper by using the cutter. The measure has a grid type line(50a) which is drawn at the unit length, so as to allow users to easily use the measure with the slot. When the user draws a line using the measure, the end of the writing instrument contacts paper after passing through the slot formed at the measure, and is disposed at an accurate position, to thereby minimize errors.
