PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the need of an opening portion for passing an oil strainer, and prevent increasing in complexity of a structure and the number of part items. SOLUTION: A baffle plate 1 is arranged in an oil pan 2. The baffle plate 1 is made by joining a synthetic resinous main plate 6 and a sub plate 7, and passage-shaped strainer chamber 8 is formed by recessed portions 6a, 7a of the main plate 6 and the sub plate 7. A mesh plate 9 working as a filter medium is clipped between both plates 6, 7. Lubricating oil sucked up through a sucking pipe 11 integrally formed on the sub plate 7 is sucked from an outlet portion 13 to an oil pump after removing foreign matter by the mesh plate 9.
