摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of producing a Cu-Zn-based alloy extruded material, in which the Cu-Zn-based alloy extruded material having a fine crystal structure such that an average diameter of crystal particles is <=15μm in the extrusion direction and in the direction perpendicular to the extrusion direction in an alloy matrix, can be produced by a single hot extrusion, and to provide the Cu-Zn-based alloy extruded material obtained by the same. SOLUTION: The Cu-Zn-based alloy having a temperature range a where it becomes aβ-phase single phase at a high temperature and a crystal structure comprising at least two phases containingα-phase at normal temperature, which are formed fromβ-phase by phase transformation, is subjected to a single hot extrusion at the temperature range of theβ-phase single phase. Thereby, the extruded material, in which an average diameter of the crystal particles is <=15μm in the extrusion direction and in the direction perpendicular to the extrusion direction in the alloy matrix, is obtained. As the Cu-Zn-based alloy, a Cu-Zn-based alloy containing Zn in an apparent amount of 37 to 45 mass % is preferable.
