PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the generation of defective printed matter by eliminating the shift of the register between respective colors caused by the elongation of printing paper. SOLUTION: For example, when an image is baked on a second color printing plate, w1, w2 and h are read as the correction quantity set corresponding to the elongation quantity of the printing paper and the baking start position of the image is adjusted from (X1, Y1) to (X1-w1, Y1) on the basis of the correction quantity and the intervalΔX between pixels in an X-axis direction is adjusted from W/n to (W+w1+w2)/n while the intervalΔY between pixels in a Y-axis direction is adjusted from H/m to (H+h)/m. With respect to a third color printing plate and a fourth color printing plate, the baking start position (X1, Y1) of the image, the intervalΔX between pixels in the X-axis direction and the intervalΔY between pixels in the Y-axis direction are also adjusted in the same way. Further, the correction of a strain direction is performed using a paper feed device having a paper deforming function.
