PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide constitution ensuring a positive sensation of steering even at the occurrence of abnormality to a vehicle speed signal. SOLUTION: This vehicle speed sensitive type power steering control device 1 is provided with a controller 12 for making the steering effort light in the stop state or low speed traveling state of a vehicle compared to the high speed traveling state for an adjusting mechanism 19 for adjusting the steering effort of a steering wheel 2 on the basis of a speed signal from a wheel speed sensor 11 for detecting vehicle speed. The controller detects the abnormality of the speed signal on the basis of inputted speed information from the wheel speed sensor 11 and makes the steering effort heaviest when detecting the abnormality of the speed signal. |
