PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for taking up a coated or cured web, capable of cutting the web between a vacant core and another core, and taking up a cut end part of the web on the vacant core without twisting or wrinkling the web. SOLUTION: This take-up device for cutting the web between the vacant core and the other core for continuously taking-up the web onto the vacant core, is provided with a cutting means for cutting the web placed along the axial direction of the vacant core, in the width direction near the vacant core, an air blowing-out means for pressing an end part of the web cut by the cutting means to a peripheral face of the vacant core by air pressure. The air blowing- out means is provided with the directivity by linearly forming plural air blowing- out holes, whereby the end part of the whole end part of the cut web can be stably pressed to the peripheral surface of the vacant core to take up the web without twisting and wrinkling the same.
